We’re Rebranding

From the 1st of May 2024, we will officially rebrand and hive up the legal entity of MJ Fire Safety Limited (06313953) into Fire Alarm Fabrication Services Limited (02565127), trading as FAFS Fire & Security, transferring all contracts of sale, purchase and employment and liabilities from the MJ Fire Safety entity into FAFS Fire & Security.

As such, we are pleased to introduce to you our new brand:

Our obligations under your existing agreements remain unaffected by the integration and FAFS Fire & Security commit to ensuring all our existing contractual obligations continue to be met.

Who is FAFS Fire & Security?

FAFS Fire & Security is the trading name of Fire Alarm Fabrication Services Limited. Established in 1988 and based in Chessington, FAFS Fire & Security is one of a number of established brands comprising Marlowe Fire & Security Group, the fire life safety and security division of Marlowe plc.

The range of solutions MJ Fire Safety provides is complementary to FAFS Fire & Security’s existing fire life safety and security service offering.

By uniting the capabilities and resources of MJ Fire Safety and FAFS Fire & Security as a consolidated entity, we will create a new unified operating mechanism that best serves all our customers across the range of sectors in which we operate.

Combining our business development and operational expertise and uniting them behind a single brand allows us to provide outstanding customer experience and a fully comprehensive fire and security service provision.

By driving closer working relationships with an enhanced electrical fire safety team and fire life safety and security engineering team, MJ Fire Safety customers will benefit from a more extensive range of capabilities and services.

 What is going to change and what will stay the same?

 There will be no material change to your current arrangements.

• Our people, including your day-to-day contacts, remain unaffected by the integration
• The same dedicated engineers will continue to provide the quality service we are known for
• We will maintain our existing delivery team structure
• We will retain our offices in Gravesend
• Our insurance cover, certification, accreditation and leading industry memberships and commitment to health, safety and quality will continue unaffected

We aim to conclude the integration process by the 1^st of May 2024 when all future company communications will be branded FAFS Fire & Security.

Examples of the types of documents branded as FAFS Fire & Security include:

• Quotations
• ID Cards, Uniform and Livery
• Engineers Dockets
• Health & Safety Documentation (RAMS)
• Invoices

Please note that the update of our vehicle livery will be gradual and our engineers may attend your site in a MJ Fire Safety branded vehicle. However, to assure you of their identity, their photographic ID cards will be branded FAFS Fire & Security.

In addition, from the 1^st of May 2024, our email addresses URL will be migrating to @fafsfireandsecurity.com and our website will migrate to www.fafsfireandsecurity.com in addition to updating our social media accounts and online directories.

Please be aware that all current email addresses will be automatically redirected to ensure no communication is lost and our existing telephone number diverted. You should not try to utilise the @fafsfireandsecurity.com email address before the 1^st of May 2024.
